I need something to keep me occupied...
The title says it all... I need something to keep me occupied... Reading is one... clicking and surfing doing nothing is another... watching TV is another... and that's about it...
currently, i'm planning my trip to either Seattle, Washington or Tampa, Florida... i think for about a week or two... well i think 8 to 10 days is more like it...
so... i'm really bored... and when did i last update my blog?? alright... i think is the Midwest Games thingy...
so, the midwest Games is GREAT!!! The organization is awesome... Kudos to UIUC and the committee... it's really good... for not only Malaysian standard... and it's way above my expectation...
so i shld start from the first day of the long weekend to UIUC(university of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign) hope i spelled it correctly... so, it all started at about 3.45pm... where my senior, Yazid picked me up near my place, in front of South Quad... and we went back to the Malaysia kampung in U of Michigan, at Northwood Housing... where i think most of the Malaysians are residing. So, there, we waited for others to come, and i the huge convoy of 6 cars (if not more) set off to UIUC at about 4.40pm... (2 SUVs, and 4 cars...I think 3 Chevy Malibu and another dunno wat car...) the one i'm in is a Chevy malibu... anyway, i'm on the same ride as Yazid (the driver), Sheikh(the co-driver), Awang and Sharence.
So, i expected a long journey and also a short congestion because of the construction work on the freeway to Chicago... but my expectation was kinda low, cos we were stucked in the middle of the pile-up for more than an hour, and that's bad...
on the way, i dozed off every now and then, and we stopped in the middle of no where..(sorry for my lousy sense of direction...), and most of us took a leak or a break, and we continued on our road trip... and stopped at Long John Silvers to grad a bite.... and I dun really like the food there becoz a) it is too oily... and b) it is too salty... the crabcake is not bad though...
and then, after dinner, we continued our 2nd half of the road, and it's about 9.30pm now...(slight digression oh yar, it's amazing that t-mobile updated the clock on my cellphone at about 7.02pm when we crossed the timezone from Eastern time to Central Time.... )
we reached our lodging place...Travelodge at about 11.00pm.... ouch my back... i jumped out of the car instantly to stretch my back... then, we went to the Union (seems like every university has it's own union building...) to register for the games... but it was closed...(it's supposed to be open til 12midnight...) but, nvm... so, there I met some of my friends from other Uni... namely, Sian Mei and Nizar from Northwestern Uni... and Nurul from the Host Uni... and...
Then, I went back to the hotel/motel... watever to call it a night... I wished... but i needed to stay up becoz some of them who were sharing the room weren't here yet... Kai and Seng Fatt reached the place at about 1am... while Faisal(or izzit Faizal) reached about 1.30am... so, ended up sleeping at about 2am...(actually 3am eastern time...)...
Couldn't really sleep for the night becoz 3 of us sharing the bed... well, and it's kinda hot in the night and it was quite cold the next morning, and too bad... Kai and Seng Fatt kinda grabbed hold of the blanket... so, the chill kinda woked me up at 5am, 6am and 7am... went to grabbed a donut at the front desk...(dunkin donuts... :P) and I'm off for the big event... well, the opening ceremony wasn't bad... but well, the speakers and the emcee are not good either... so, ppl started to have their own chats while the speakers were giving their obviously-written-by-someone else speeches... forgot to mention that the honorable guests are the Minister of Higher Education from Malaysia... Datuk Dr. Shafie Salleh and also the Ambassador of Malaysia to US Datuk Ghazali Sheikh....
so, after the opening ceremony, the launching of the games, and all, the game started at 10.40am... well our first basketball match, up against the 4-time defending champion team...Nebraska B... and fair enough, our amatuerish and never(really never) get together hybrid team who was worried that we would be disqualified becoz couldn't meet the minimum 7 team members was quashed, stomped, humiliated, screwed, and watever with a devastating score of 67 - 6... oh yar... i played for the first half only because of my table tennis match at 11.30am... and when i got there, i waited for 10 minutes, and yet, my opponent didn't turn up, so i just won my first match without lifting my racket... next match at 12.30pm...
so, i ran back to the basketball court to watch the horror butchering from University of Nebraska over our hybrid Michigan team...(with a friend from Carnegie Mellon University...and some frens from RPI....) after that, I went back to the table tennis court and won a tight match 3 - 2... wow... with the 3rd game in the ended up with a score of 14-12...(duece...) well, i'm a better player... but i'm nervous and wasted the opportunity of winning the game early on... but... whew... a win is a win... :P (i won the last point with my opponent making a mistake of serving the ball long... :P)
so, went back to the basketball court at about 1pm... this time, we played against Case Western Reserve University(CWRU)... well, we did took a lead... and we were quite close in terms of the points for most of the first half... suddenly, we just got lost, and we just threw the game... and ended losing like 11 - 20+....
and at about 1.30pm, i went to play my Quarterfinal Match... won the match 3 - 1... yeah... I'm thru the semifinal... next game at 3.30pm... right now.... i'm really starving... imagined the only thing that I ate for the past 18 hours was just a donut.... so, at 2pm, we played our last match of basketball... against the host team... UIUC... and again, we were really close at first... and made a few mistakes here and there and let them to have a comfortable lead, and that's it... We lost all our matches in the group and sank to the bottom of the table...
after that, we went to grab our lunch... well, had nasi lemak for lunch.... not bad... but it would be better if it was spicier... that's about 3pm... didn't drink the Mountain Dew becoz i've a game at 3.30pm... so, i went there with a full stomach... and whew... luckily it didn't give me a huge trouble... and i went on to win the match 3 - 0....(i think).... so, that's it, i'm in to the FINAL... tomorrow 12pm....live at UIUC...
so, the next match at 4.30pm... doubles... we waited for more than 10 minutes again... we got the free win again.... then, our opponent showed up... and they wanted to play... so, Kai and I decided to be nice and played them, and we won the match too... and the next match at 5.30pm... and we lost it... :(
so, after that, we found our friend...my housemate back in INTEC, Yik Han to be our tour guide... he led us around the campus, UIUC is not bad... nice place, nice acrhitecture... nice town... but it is more 'kampung' village-like... later, he brought us to a Chinese restaurant - Mandarin Wok... and he rushed back to work... the food was delicious... and the price is cheaper than that of Ann Arbor... well well.... i think JPA should re-evaluate our allowance... at least use the COLA....(Cost of Living Allowance) system... it's unfair for us to be paid the cheaper rate and having us to spend the high cost of living here in Ann Arbor....
after dinner, it's about 8.30pm... Kai and I walked back to our hotel...(dun wanna trouble our senior...), it's not a long walk... just about 20 minutes... reached the hotel/motel and bathed and all.... watched the basketball match... Spurs vs Suns... well, Suns won the match and was 3 - 0 up...
later, we watched the AC Milan vs Liverpool Champions League Final on my laptop... and not a bad match... those saves... and those celebration... and went to bed at about 1am....
woke up at about 7am the next morning... called home... and then, watched the F1 lived from Germany... and then, went to judge table tennis match at 9am... and then, for about 2 hours... and then, practiced awhile...and practiced with my opponent from 11.30am til 12noon... and the Final match went bad... well... he was the better player... no doubt about that... but i thought i can pressure him by winning the first match... i was leading 10 - 6 and i lost 6 points in a row...
and the next two matches went even worse... and luck weren't on my side today... with like more than 5 smashes which caught the net and bounced out of play... well.. just bad...
still, i'm happy to be the runner up... after that, we went to the Illini Union Bookstore to get some souvenirs... I got a cap and a t-shirt... then, we went back to the sports building to catch the other finals... with badminton... singles and doubles both won by my senior Kai Soon (with Izzudin for doubles)....
then, went to watch the Basketball final... and again, the team that slaughtered us yesterday...University of Nebraska B team won the match...
and then, we walked around to kill some time... and lined up for the Hi-Tea at 3pm... well, the food wasn't bad... and then, we went to Old Navy to get a pair of pants and a shirt... well... there's a performance night tonight and I got nothing but t-shirts and jeans and shorts... so, spent $25 on it... and rushed back for the night....
AND something came along and it burst my bubble... I noticed that the racket which Kai borrowed from KaiSoon which was supposed to be in my bag wasn't there... I made a few calls... and tried to go back to the sports building to look for it but couldn't find... nobody handed it into the lost and found... damn...
went to the performance night.... and there were way too many dances... and got my medal from the most 'Loved' guy, the director of MSD-Chicago... Rahim is his name...(i think)...
then, i met the nice committee person who was in charged of the table tennis thingy... and he gave me the number of the person who was there... Cat... and she told me that she saw the racket there and at that moment... Uni of Minnesota team was still there... so, I tried to ask Boon Yi of U of Minnesota... and then Der Ueng (also from Minnesota) said he saw that nobody took it, so he kept it... Thank goodness... Whew... so, we went back to thier place (Lincoln Lodge... right beside our hotel) and got it back from him...and problem solved....!!!!!
that's about 11.15pm... went back to my room to start packing, coz i'll be leaving and going back to Ann Arbor tonight... at about 12midnight... i went to Yazid's place... and then, waited for them to get ready and all, watched the Iron Chef America while waiting... and at about 12.40am, we left UIUC...
so... at about 3am... we stopped at somewhere near Michigan city for breakfast... the breakfast at Denny's was good... had a county breakfast... (3 pancakes...and 2 eggs with hashbrown and 2 sausages and bacon...) and I managed to down it...(almost... left some hashbrown) we left that place at about 4am... and continued our journey... and we reached Ann Arbor at about 8.40am... I'm dead tired... I couldn't really sleep on wheels... and I'm stucked in the middle back seat...
i'm checked my mail...and took a shower and drop dead on my bed... and woke up at 4.00pm in the afternoon.... felt a bit groggy and all... and went dinner with Eric... and had 2 scoops of Stucchi's too....(almond ice cream....nice)...
went to sleep early again at about 11pm and woke up the next morning at 9am....
had cereals for lunch becoz i didn't do groceries last week... so basically, my fridge is empty...(actually quite full, but not with my stuffs...)
so, it's Tuesday... so, had Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner... Eric and I chowed 40 wings... and was too full for any dessert..
was quite tired too... but still i had to settle my homework for tomorrow... and stayed up late... and woke up even later the next morning....
that's another story... wow.... can't imagine that i just crapped for so much....

It's been awhile since last I dropped a message. It's really ironic that I updated my blog more often when I don't have my laptop with me. Really!
Since getting my new baby... a Dell® Inspiron 6000..., I haven't been updating my blog... look at those posts beginning of May til the 18th ... I managed to chuck in several post without my laptop... shame on me...
BUT, I have my reasons... my excuses, whatever u wanna call it. I've been preparing for my EXAMS... My first ever PROFESSIONAL examination in my life!!! WOW, my first time... and another midterm... first was my Course P (probability) Actuarial Exam... Hope that I can pass it... just wanna be the top 30+%... and for my Econs midterm, hopefully I didn't overead and overthink the questions...
For the Actuarial Paper... I won't be too disappointed even if i didn't make the cut... although that means the cutting off point would be quite high... but come to think about it... the effort I put in preparing for the exam is really limited... maybe the Introduction to Probability course I took under Prof. DiFranco helps a lot, but still, I think I spent less than 50 hours studying for the exam... which I don't think is enough...
Well, we'll see.... the results would be out sometime in July or Aug...
Let's not talk about exam... so, Liverpool is COOL... but still I just hate them lesser now... MU is still here to RULE... even though Arsenal got lucky and snatched the FA cup from them, anybody who watched the match know who's the dominant and who was dominated... and how Arsenal was outclassed by MU...
now, switching to NBA.... go PISTONS...
and then to American Idol 4... well, in the final¨¦, Carrie Underwood truly showed her powerful voice and dazzling smile to win my heart... she's pretty... and she can sing...just like an iPod... that's why she's the WINNER....
let's talk about the upcoming long-weekend now.... well... Memorial Day on Monday... doesn't really changes my schedule as i'm off on Monday... but, I'm going to UIUC for the Midwest Games 2005... it is an inter-collegiate sports meet among Malaysians... competitive sports included in the games are Soccer, Basketball, Table Tennis, Tennis, and Badminton... I think that's about it...
that's all for now... I'm bringing my baby there too... Hopefully, I can get connected at the hotel and kept u guys posted....
OH YAR... i got money-minded somehow... and suscribed to Google© Adsense... so, scroll down and click on those links if u have nothing else better to do...

my new room at the Barrister...
good news... my laptop is coming in 3 days time.... yeah... Dell® Inspiron 6000...
and i moved to my new room (last room was a temporary room becoz my housemate, Eric needed his room til yesterday...
my new room is somewhat smaller than my previous temporary room, but it has 4 windows... and it is really bright... great.... i just love it...
well well, more about my housemates now... so, more ppl will be coming in... did i keep u guys updated with my new housemates who have moved in? they are Mimi, and Carrie, and Arthur... Mimi and Carrie are really friendly and nice Michiganians ... while Arthur, a Hongkonger, is very quiet, (maybe he is too busy) as he is never around... he runs at funny hours, i guess... cause i'm quite a late person, and he seems to be even later... or maybe he has a place elsewhere... who knows...
so, another girl, Emily is moving in tomorrow... and then, another girl, Leng Dei, will be moving in some time later.... so, 4 gals and 2 guys in the house... and i'm pretty sure i'm the youngest of all... dang...
another week has gone... 2 weeks out of the 8-week-long(more like short) Spring Semester... and wat am I going to do after this??? I really have no idea... I think I will be start working next month, and also the month of July, and go travelling in August... Destination? Tampa, Florida or Seattle, Washington....i guess...
and about working, where will i be working?? most probably, the dining hall... it will be tiring, but the pay is among the highest i can find... maybe i'll try Michigan telefund.. but i dun think i'm suit for that kinda work... i dun like talking over the phone...

home alone... and which is the best choice??
well well... i want to be 21 faster... I want to join my housemates going to bars... dang... but i'm still 10 months short of 21...
well well... that's the reason i've been home alone for several nights... well Adam and Ariana left yesterday...(for summer work and home), and Heather and Dan left today (going home and then to work too), and left with Eric... and me...(looking forward to meet my new housemates though...)
and what makes matter worse is my dead laptop...
that's the reason i've been reading, a lot ... read 2 books in 2 days... yeah... The Honeymoon by James Patterson© and The Last Juror by John Grisham©...
Good read though...
so, now another question is bothering me... what shld be replacing my dead laptop?? another laptop?? a mac mini?? or a desktop??
well... here comes the pros and cons...
Another Laptop: it will be a huge one...becoz of the outrageous deals from Dell®, i will have to go with the gigantic 17 inches laptop... which cost about 1.1k
A Mac Mini...: This will be my first Mac... it's a space saver... and it's cool... and powerful(i'm not playing games anymore...games as in those high-end games which require great graphics...FPS kinda game...) everything (with a lcd 17 flat panel) and mouse and keyboard will set me about 1k
A Desktop...: Again, another outrageous deal from Dell... it will be powerful(after configuring...), 1Gb Ram, 160 Gb HD, 128mb Vid..., those kinda thing... with a 17 lcd panel too... will get me back into my old gamer self... but i dun really wanna venture back into computer games... it's bad...
it will too set me about 1k...
so how now???

damn... damn... damn... stupid... stupid... stupid... i was typing halfway on my laptop... (updating my blog, this very blog), and then, suddenly... the BSOD came up and my laptop is currently in coma...
shit... my laptop just crashes... and it seems like my world is crashing down on my too... well... i was practically in pretty good mood five minutes ago... then, my laptop crashes... and shit... i'm worried now..
damn... having hard time rebooting my laptop currently... hopefully it is not too bad... hope that it will miraculously be able to boot up again after 5 or 10 minutes....

New York and Washington DC trip... condensed version...
Hi again.... Shld have wrote this piece 4 months ago... or izzit 5 months ago.... my bad... but i did keep my promise... so pls forgive me... it's really funny to look back at those scribbling i did on my diary(daily planner)... luckily i did jot down wat i did over the NYC and Washington DC trip... and took lots of pictures... really great experiences I had there... and worth remembering... those pictures... those sceneries... thoes people... those feelings... just plain fun.... ENJOY...!!!!

Took a flight from DTW to LGA airport. It was raining heavily there. After checking into the hostel, grab a subway...(the sandwich) and later took a subway(the underground train like vehicle) to TimesSquare...
and WOAH!!! It's beautiful... the lights, the colors, and the people...
24 Dec 2004 went to Chinatown to have breakfast... search for the dumpling store which sells hot and nice dumpling at $1 a plate... nice...nice... then to Intrepid Sea Air Space Musuem then met Putt and CC and Putt's friend at TimesSquare. went to watch a movie - Blade:Trinity® went to Chinatown again for really good dinner (Bak Kut Teh, Sesame Beef, PiPa Duck, Tofu and Asam Laksa, and i think Kangkung Belacan...) Went to Rockefeller Park for the huge Christmas tree...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
went to Central Park for a morning walk... Central Park is HUGE... then to Chinatown for lunch.. then to Wall Street(the trump place, Golden Bull, Bowling Green, NYSE) then to Brooklyn Bridge and to Chinatown again for dinner and then back to hostel becoz of Poh Yi and Jin Ye wanted to wash their hair.. Then, back to TimesSquare... amazingly, it's such a small world after all, as Kai and I met Chiun Lin(Cornell), Michelle(MIT), Hung Wei(NU) and Wooi Yang(UVA)...
26 Dec 2004 went to Empire State Building...bought some souvenirs.. Had lunch at Wendy's®... then to Rockefeller again then to Penang for Dinner.. then went back to sleep..
27 Dec 2004 Went to 'the Battery' to get ticket for the ferry to visit the Statue of Liberty. Wonderful.... Had lulnch at McD... Went to Rush for broadway ticks... but too bad, the ticks for "Phantom of the Opera" was sold out...! Then went to the Musuem of Modern Art (MoMA)... it is a wonderful musuem, should have spent more time there, but too bad, it was closing.... Went to my very first Boradway musical - Wonderful Town, starring Brooke Shields.... It was awesome....
28 Dec 2004 Went to the Circle Line Cruise which circles the Manhattan Islanf...(semi-circle actually) Nice view of the Manhattan Skyline... took lotsa pics... Then, went to the UN... Toured the 5 out of 6 division(chambers)....One is not at the same place.... Then to Guggenheim Musuem.... The exhibition is great... The architecture of the musuem itself is amazing... then to Chinatown... u got it right, for dinner... Good food at cheap price...(cheaper than Ann Arbor..) went back and started packing becoz have to wake up early for the next day... GOING TO WASHINGTON DC.....
29 Dec 2004 Went to Chinatown early for the DC trip... first, we went to New Jersey then to Pennsylvannia...(to have lunch) and to take some pics around at Philaedelphia... then to Maryland.... then to Virginia... and alas...Washington DC.... Went to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum... Went to had dinner... NOT BAD.... A lot of sightseeing.... will definitely go to DC again... backpack maybe... the hotel is not bad at all... for the price we pay... it is definitely worth more than the dollar... WARNING: Busy day ahead!!!!!
30 Dec 2004 Went to Capitol Hill... White House then to Jefferson Memorial Lincoln Memorial Vietnam War Monument Korean War Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial then to the Musuem of National History... hurried all along... snaps thousands of pics.... had lunch, and then went on our way back to NY.... SO MUCH for a 2 days 1 night bus trip... reasonable and satisfied...
31 Dec 2004 went to Central Park again to look for the skating rink at the North of Central Park... then to the Museum of Natural History... It was maginificent... HUGE... and grand... then to 42nd street McD for Lunch.... Then to New York Public Library... Then to Countdown at TimesSquare...damn, it may sound stupid, for millions of ppl standing in the cold for 6 and a half hours... that's about 400 minutes... but it was worth every second there... 10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1......HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Good bye 2004... Welcome 2005!!!!!
1 Jan 2005 WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO.....2005... Then to McD for dinner at 1am... Didn't have a place to stay for the night... thought that the hostel was full.. but i dun think so... Spent the night at the Grand Central Terminal... slept at the station... well... for about 4 hours... A cop woke me up and asked me am I ok.. and whether everything was fine... yeah... I told him that I was waiting for the train at 6.30am... I lied... Thanks for your concern... Then went to the South Side of Central Park for another skating rink... Found the infamous Plaza Hotel... the Bethesda Fountain...well but it is just like another fountain becoz it's dry... (it's winter) Lunch at Chinatown... again... Then to Musuem of Sex... yeah... nothing much... but it's famous...so, wat the heck... then, back to Hostelling International to sleep.... Dinner at Chinatown... yet again... then back to HI and called it a day... note: Rose Bowl result.... Michigan lost to Texas 36-37.... sad....
2 Jan 2005 Went to Century 21, a shopping complex beside WTC site for shopping...Great bargain... got scarves, and shirt.... and stuffs... bought so much stuffs that i even bought a bag to carry them back to Ann Arbor...(figured that my backpack is already stuffed...) Then to eat at Chinatown... Then to SoHo to window shop... Then to Bloomingdales' Then to TimesSquare to buy souvernirs(u know those I 'HEART' NY t-shirts).... and got dinner at Sbarro®... Then back to hostel early to pack... Leaving NYC tomorrow...
3 Jan 2005 woke up this morning realizing i'm leaving NYC and going to start my 2nd semester... took a subway to Colombia U... from there, took a bus back to the LGA airport... from there, a flight back to DTW airport... and from there, the airBus to Ann Arbor... the flight was delayed for about an hour... bad....
reached ann arbor and my room at about 5pm.. around that time... really tired and all.... wat a wonderful backpacking trip to NYC and Washington DC... seen so much and visited so many places in such a short break.... (10 days...) spent about $1500.... ouch... my pocket hurts... and that's about it...
get ready... as a new semester looms ahead within the next 48 hours....

Hey peeps... it's me again... and thank you for ur continuous support for reading these pieces of crap... haha
so, here it goes: I've been working long hours for the past few days... and those hours were not as easy as the one before... where I used to have time to update my blog or to do my homework while getting paid... well, those were the days... for the past few days, i have to deal with tons of paperworks, and so much so that i have to work overtime... and lost my voice because of dealing with questions and answers for about 8 hours... yeah...EIGHT hours...
and on Sunday(yesterday), I have to wake up at 8am early in the cold spring morning to work til 12pm... and after that, went to McD to grab my lunch with my buddies, and after lunch, get back to my room, lovely little single room to grab my last baggages and went to my new bigger room in a LOVELY apartment with awesome housemates...
wait, if my memory serves me right, there are 5 of them (not including me in the apartment), they are : Adam, Eric, Daniel, Heather and Adrianne(or Arriane)... All of them(i think) are law students... great ppl...
too bad, dun have the time to really sit down to mingle with them as they are having their finals now...
Moving is really tiring, but then, still have unpacking and all to do. What’s worse is that the need to decide on what to eat for lunch and dinner. Not only that I need to satisfy my craving for good food, but also to meet the target of spending less than $10 a day.
So what’s the best way to save on food and yet be able to get good food? COOK your own food. Yeah… I’m cooking… wanna try?
so, i went to my friends' place to cook... We cooked... 3 dishes... first dish : Vegetables (chinese style), second dish: Simple Stir Fry Chicken...( i cooked this dish...), and Fried Egg... the dinner was awesome... although the rice is a bit too moist, and a bit lesser than we appreciate, we did enjoy our own-cooked first dinner in Ann Arbor...
So, today, we did it again... but something bad happened since yesterday, something really bad, really depressing, and something really disturbing...
I didn't have my internet connection... that's devastating.. that's catastrophic... that's bad... awful...(sorry for my sounding like a thesaurus...)
i tried to connect to the wireless network connection available at my new apartment since yesterday night around 10pm, but WTF... it just couldn't connect... and worse stll it gave me false hope for several times when it said that i was connected, but data just ain't transfering...
so... i tried divert my attention to the cable tv at the living... surfing thru the 100+ channels.... and watched a bit of Super Millionaire... trying to act smart.. and i did get a few questions... with one of USD$100 000 question... about the name of the most distant object of the Solar System discovered last year...(something like that), and thanks to my Astronomy classes, i have the answer on my fingertips... it's Sedna...
so, after that, watched the NBA playoff... dun really follow NBA... but I watches it once in a while...really a while...
so, still couldn't get my internet connection... tried with virtually everything i can think of, til about 2 am, finally, i gave up and went to sleep...
and woke up this morning, early, at about 8.30am, and went to the fishbowl to use the computer there, and tried to google to resolve my internet problem... after googling thru forums, and downloaded hotfix, winsockxpfix, newer driver... and install it, but still, failed...
met up with my fren Joshua, and thanks to him, he managed to detect that even though i only enabled 1 firewall...SyXXXX firewall, it kinda messed up with the windows firewall... so, i deleted the SyXXXX, and allowed the Windows firewall...
and magically, it works... AWESOME... Joshua just make my day...
the feeling without internet was really bad... I never felt so empty before.. really, i'm like desperate, and aimless without my internet... i think internet is a huge part of my life... really... without internet, is worse than ... can't think of anything worse than that...
in the afternoon, it rained... with mixture of some snow... or izzit snow with mix rain... watever, the point is, u can still find snow in May ... in Ann Arbor, Michigan... wat's wrong with the world??? It's MAY... May and snow don't go together....
later in the afternoon, went to Meijer to get some groceries... and toothpaste... got a gallon of milk... 2 boxes of cereals... Post Cereals... :Honey Bunches of Oats :Banana Nut Crunch.... awesome choice...
came back in the evening... went to my friends' place again to prepare and eat dinner...
awesome day...

Today is the last day of class...
So... today is the last day of class...
The weather is great, and the people are different...
The people around me looks tired...
maybe because of the ongoing and upcoming exams...
maybe because of the party yesterday night...
maybe because of the PAINTED mile run (was changed from NAKED mile run) yesterday night... maybe because of lack of sleep catching up with the drama series...
maybe because they are just tired...

I should be studying right now... with 4 FINALS in the span of 3 days looming ahead... from 25 April - 27 April... and with an iPod photo at stake... my bro promised to get me one if I get a 4.0 GPA for this semester, so, i should really be studying my ASS off right now...
BUT WHY am I typing my way here? Well, because the weather is too nice for me to study(not a reason because I'm staying indoor typing crap here...) Actually, because I'm too bored, sitting at the front desk, waiting for people to come and buy stamps, envelopes, asking for TP(toilet paper that is), trash bags, sorting mail, issuing temporary card to those who locked themselves out of their own room...silly ain't they? human invented lock to prevent others from entering their room, while these people do a much better job in preventing themself from entering their own room and get fined by me at the mean time...adding funds to the already rich University... all those seemed to be trivial but actually VERY important task...
try to imagine if i wasn't here to give out toilet paper.. how are U going wipe ur S after crapping?? don't tell me, I DON'T want to know...
another situation, if i wasn't here, and u locked urself out.... and u need to grab ur assignment in ur room, which is due in 30 minutes time... so, where are u going to ask for help??

damn, i can sense that i'm getting lamer and lamer each day... hopefully others' level of tolerating lameness is increasing as fast as my level of lameness increment...

My Freshman Year coming to an END...soon.. really soon
Damn... I'm getting attached to this place already... My freshman year is coming to an end in less than a week time... and then there's my finals and *poof*... my freshman year vanishes into the thin air... at least it is thin warm air at this time of the year...
Time really flies... I still remember exactly the day I left Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), with my family and frens seeing me off on Aug 23, 2004... and now, it's almost 8 months I'm here in a foreign land... far from home... but really, i LOVE this place... Ann Arbor is just wonderful and magical in so many ways... U must come here and live it to believe it...
Although everybody is looking forward to the Spring and Summer holiday, me too... but as others (many of them) are heading home and all, I'm staying back for classes and also for dunno wat... really... i've yet to plan for my entire summer semester... I've no plan about what to do, but i'm pretty sure wat not to do... taking classes is definitely on my NO LIST.... so, any suggestions??
just had my haircut at Aveda 2 days ago... it's an institution... so, i'm kinda risking my hair... making myself a guinea pig... and paying $14 for it... but the end result is beautiful...i mean i like the hair cut a lot... and prior to the haircut, the massage is not bad... but the only thing i will not want them to do next time is applying abundant amount of hair product on my hair... well, abit of wax is fine... but i think she applied 1 scoop of it... and the fragrance of the hair wax choked me for a good 4-5 hours... before i can go back to my room and wash it off... i got kinda dizzy and can't really function properly... so i ended up crawling up to bed before midnight... (that's a really rare occasion... i can't remember when was the last time i slept before 12 midnight...)
so, now, i'm a spikey... well at least i don't have to deal with 1 pound of hair... dangling in front of my forehead... and .... well.. all the maintenance... and management... might as well just cut them all once and for all.... no problem...
and i just lost my job for the Spring and Summer semester... dang... well not really, i wasn't even hired yet... so, can't really say that i lost the job... just that i was too optimistic... thinking that i will be hired no matter wat... too bad... as they are too many of us applying for the same job, and the customer service center is only operating for a shorter hours.... increase in demand, decrease in supply... therefore, the shortage... (UNEMPLOYMENT)....
lame... well, i'm just going to look for another job... maybe it will be better for me to work several jobs and get good references... i hope...
